Welcome to Syndicated Planets

Syndicated Planets is a Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) game. Have you ever played cowboys and Indians, cops and robbers, etc.? This is similar to that in that everything is pretty much unrehearsed. The difference is that instead of everyone just being a generic cop, robber, cowboy, or Indian, you as a player, will create a character and give that character a personality of its own. Instead of running around and shooting your opponents, you must interact with other players to attain any goals that you set for your character. Another way to look at it is think of your self in a soap opera drama or on a stage as one of the actors but without a script.

We have a rulebook that we give to each player. It has all the rules that we currently have so that every player is "on the same sheet of music". It is packed with all sorts of character types that are currently available. It also has rules for interstellar travel in our game and how we relate it to the real world. Syndicated Planets is an ongoing game. Our Host Administrators (HA) {or game masters}, create scenarios for the players to get their characters involved in. More often than not, the players create their own scenarios, which only need approval from HA before being put into play. Or sometimes a player puts his/her character in a spot that is just too juicy to let alone and HA just has fun with it. But everything detrimental done to a character is done with the players approval first.

The setting for our game is in the future in another galaxy far from the Milky Way. We call our galaxy Theos. The mob rules the galaxy, trade is a way of life, and making money or cutting deals is the only way to survive. Check out the History Of Syndicated Planets to find out the in-game past.
